The Kanomax anemometer calibrator we use measures wind speed using the amount of heat dissipated by the air. When the temperature of the wind changes, the amount of heat dissipated also changes, which affects the wind speed value. However, since our anemometer has a built-in temperature compensation sensor to compensate for this, the impact on the wind speed value is minimal.
However, the temperature compensation sensor and the anemometer must be in the same temperature environment.
