"Calibration" is maintenance to test whether the instrument indicates the correct wind speed value and adjusts it to the correct accuracy. For any instrument, after purchase, if it is not calibrated regularly, it is unknown whether the accuracy changes or remains unchanged over time. If you haven't calibrated it for more than a year since purchase, be sure to consider calibrating it once to maintain accuracy and prolong its service life.
