Summary: Calibration is the maintenance of testing whether the instrument indicates the correct wind speed value and adjusting it to the correct accuracy. For any instrument, after purchase, if it is not calibrated regularly, it is unknown whether the accuracy changes or does not change over time. If you haven't calibrated it for more than a year since purchase, be sure to consider calibrating it once to maintain accuracy and long-term use.
