What is the "calibration" of an anemometer?

Calibration is the maintenance of testing whether the instrument indicates the correct wind speed value and adjusting it to the correct accuracy. For any instrument, after purchase, if it is not calibrated regularly, it is unknown whether the accuracy changes or does not change over time. If you haven't calibrated it for more than a year since purchase, be sure to consider calibrating it once to maintain accuracy and long-term use.

Can an anemometer measure wind volume?

Air volume can be calculated as the average wind speed multiplied by the cross-sectional area of the measuring section, such as a pipe. Air volume = Average wind speed × Pipe cross-sectional area If the cross-sectional area is input in advance into the anemometer body, models with the function of automatically calculating the air volume based on the wind speed value can be provided.
